• Successfully defended, as First Chair, $15M breach of fiduciary duty, RICO, and conversion claims between owners of privately held disaster cleanup and recovery company. Obtained jury decision in favor of client after 6-day federal court jury trial.

• Lead counsel in commercial real estate transactions, construction lending, and loan sale agreements totaling more than $350 million.

• Lead trial counsel for major banks, private lenders and special servicers in successful loan enforcement and foreclosure actions concerning more than $175 million in commercial property.

• Lead counsel for national hotel ownership group in multi-party construction litigation matter involving damages to hotel caused by improper excavation. Obtained multi-million dollar settlement in favor of clients.

• Secured $5 million summary judgment in favor of a client in a multi-party multi-national federal court case.

• Represented, and obtained favorable settlement for, purchaser of Fedex linehaul and spot routes in federal litigation concerning misrepresentation and breach of contract associated with purchase of delivery business.

• Act as outside general counsel for various privately held companies, including both start-ups and established companies. Serves as secretary for Boards.

• State and federal litigation experience in a variety of industries, including, real estate, construction, transportation, financial services, telecommunications, energy, and bankruptcy.

• Successfully represented developer in real-estate dispute and related litigation regarding ownership and $125 million redevelopment of a historic office building.

• Manages portfolio of over 240 collection cases for a client and has recovered more than $8 million.

• Drafts and negotiates complex commercial leases, loan documents, purchase agreements, deeds, and related transaction documents. Lead deal review and due diligence teams.

• Represented multinational and local oil and gas companies in more than 100 land use and eminent domain actions; successfully obtaining pipeline easements necessary for operation of pipelines
